Simply press the Q button to call up the settings window, then tap the ISO and slide it left or right to adjust. Photo Mode with Live View on, Video Mode. Re: Best indoor sports settingsiyho. In reply to sparkling elk • Jan 29, 2011. Shoot only manual indoors. Unless you are in a newer, pro arena, you will be at ISO 1600 or 3200, at F/1.8 to F/2.8 and 1/320 to 1/1000. In most college arenas I shoot in, I am at ISO 1600, at F/2 at 1/4000 to 1/500.

Shutter speed is a factor also when shooting under common fluorescent lighting. At higher shutter speeds, color banding and exposure inconsistencies become an issue. I just get Mark III and EF 24-105 1:4 L IS USM lens and went for important indoor presentation with combination of tungsten and fluorescent lights.
